We say it every year, but it is so true – summer is almost over and school is ready to begin. That means it’s time to start packing JFY bags again. With the exception of September (and a rare holiday conflict), we meet the first Monday of the month. Packing is held in the lobby at the back of the church. We begin at 3:00 but some come early to help get the food on the tables. If we have a good bunch of people we are usually done in an hour. There are three ways you can help. First and most importantly, pray for this program to be a success. Pray for the bellies of the children who receive the bags that they won’t be hungry. Pray for the success of the program and the funds to continue it. And pray that somehow this food program may lead a family to Christ. Secondly, support the program by tithing. And last, come help pack. If you are able to walk in a circle, you can help. We can also use help setting up and taking down tables. We would love to have you in whatever manner you can give.
