Sunday March 8, 2026 – Time to spring ahead and we will be celebrating Holy Communion

March 8th, 2026 8:00 am ~ 2nd Sunday of Lent: Early Contemporary Service 9:15 am ~ Sunday School / Small Groups 10:30 am ~ Traditional Service of Worship : The Morning Message: Pastor Alan Atchison – “ The Gift of God ” Based on the text from John 4: 5 – 42. The Reading of the Holy Scriptures: Romans 5: 1 – 11 – NRSV. Dear Friends, Please keep the families of those who were killed in the violent storms that swept across the heart of the Midwest Friday and Saturday, as well as the service members who were killed in action oversees this week, as the fighting continues. As followers of Jesus, we mourn with those who mourn – especially at the unnecessary loss of innocent lives. And whether those deaths are here in our community, within the bounds of this country’s borders, or overseas in war-torn countries we stand against the taking of innocent lives. And so, as we gather tomorrow to worship, we will spend time both in prayer, and in praise of the One who has promised to walk beside us in the journey – in whatever form that takes. May you seek to let your light shine in the darkness: a beacon of hope in the lives of those who know not hope, or who live in a state of despair. Let the love of Jesus guide your steps, and flow through you to those who need know what true love looks like. It goes live 15 minutes before the beginning of each service. Be warm, and Be Blessed!
